Classroom News

I hope that everyone had a marvelous vacation!  This is the time of year where students begin to take off with their academic abilities.  I am so impressed with how well the entire group of children transitioned back to school.  We are beginning to behave and perform “like first graders,” as I always tell them!

Science

We will begin to learn about winter and what weather this season may bring.  We are going to be conducting multiple science experiments in the coming weeks with water.  Many of the children enjoy this hands-on experience.  We will work on making predictions and drawing pictures to match our words.  During this time, we will be looking at fiction and non-fiction books, as well as diving into literary non-fiction.
