 Traditions Around the World

We have begun our unit on Traditions Around the World.  We have our passports ready and will "fly" to different countries to see what holiday traditions they have that may be different from our country!

Book Buddies: 

This week we read The Gingerbread Man by Karen Schmidt with our Book Buddies.  Afterwards, we worked in partners to color in our "puppets" for The Gingerbread Man play that we are going to practice next week.  Students will hold up their puppet whenever their character is mentioned, reiterating the importance of listening and comprehending text.
