Our week in pictures...

 We learned how to sit "Hip to hip, knee to knee, hold the book so both can see" during partner reading.  We also learned how to "read" a story by looking at the pictures.

We had our first Whole School Meeting on Friday morning. 

We dumped our warm fuzzy bucket into the whole school bin! Look at how many we got!!

We learned about the life cycle of a butterfly. 

Class Rules

We are working diligently on our rule of "Only one person talks at a time,"  This is often one of the hardest rules for children coming into kindergarten.  Please reiterate with your child whenever possible that it is important to wait their turn to speak, raising their hand when they have a question. We will continue to work hard at this each day! 

Class Dojo

We will begin to use Class Dojo as a trial this week.  Please do not panic if you see a lot of negative Dojo points for your child. We are going to be fairly strict with our classroom rules in order to emphasize how Class Dojo will work in our room.  If you have any questions about it, please feel free to get in touch with me!
